Thank you for your interest in serving on the Chemistry department's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice (DEIJ) Committee! Our committee is committed to taking action on important DEIJ issues in our Department, and you can read more about our ongoing efforts here. Our committee includes student volunteers, who are expected to attend 1-2 one hour meetings per semester so that they can provide feedback and ideas about our ongoing efforts. Your response may include references to your own experiences outside of Tufts, at Tufts, and within the Tufts Chemistry department, and how these experiences inform your perspective on DEIJ issues at Tufts and within our department.
