We are honored to invite you on behalf of the AS&E Dean of Students and Student Life team to an event we are hosting: An Evening with Fania E. Davis.
Join Student Life on Friday, November 15th at 4 p.m. at the Joyce Cummings Center (JCC), Room 270. Dr Davis' presentation “Race, Restorative Justice, and Healing in a Time of Awakening, Repair, and Re-imagining.” will explore the roots of Restorative Justice and the importance of educational institutions centering Restorative Practices to rebuild trust in our community.
Dr. Fania E. Davis is a leading international voice on the intersection of racial and restorative justice. She is a long-time social justice activist, civil rights trial attorney, author, and educator with a PhD in Indigenous Knowledge.
We anticipate space will be very limited and we are asking attendees to pre-register. Registration and seats are on a first come basis. Tufts students can request their individual ticket on Tufts Tickets. Faculty, staff, and other guests can request an individual seat by completing this form.
We hope to see you there!
