TUSC is currently seeking dynamic, energetic individuals to fill marketing and programming roles for the 2025-26 academic year.
 

As a student-run organization, TUSC hosts a variety of events and programs which broaden the social experience at Tufts and build community across campus. As a member of TUSC, you will brainstorm event ideas, implement these ideas, and help develop innovative ways to enhance social life at Tufts. This is an excellent opportunity for you to be involved and develop your creative and organizational skills.
 

TUSC Seeks To:

  • Provide a variety of social activities,
  • Meet the needs of a diverse student body, and
  • Foster productive collaboration between various departments and student organizations.

Being a Member of TUSC Means:
  • Actively promoting community and upholding cooperative team spirit,
  • Attending weekly full TUSC meetings and individual meetings,
  • Contacting vendors and coordinating event logistics,
  • Managing a programming budget, and
  • Attending and volunteering for events as needed (approximately fifteen, one-hour shifts per semester).

TUSC Members Have:
  • An open mind and are adaptable problem solvers,
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills,
  • The ability to work collaboratively on a team,
  • An understanding of the diverse needs of the Tufts student body, and
  • A desire to have fun while serving others.
     
TUSC members will be paid for event shifts via Tufts Student Payroll at an hourly rate equal to Massachusetts minimum wage. Alternative arrangements can be made if you do not currently have authorization to work on campus, and all wages are subject to MA and federal income tax. You will receive additional incentives including free tickets and priority access to events, TUSC swag, and other giveaways as able.

We will be using that for communication. Please note, all members must adhere to the TUSC Code of Conduct and will be required to attend a TUSC meeting at the end of this semester. Some planning for next semester will occur over the summer.
