New courses must run as Special Topics three times before they will be considered for a permanent course number in the catalog. A permanent course number must be proposed for Special Topics courses if it is to continue running after the initial three offerings.

Please make sure to use proper bulletin language and list level, prerequisites and/or recommendations at the end of the description. Keep in mind for prerequisites, SIS prevents students from enrolling if they have not met specific criteria. For recommendations, students may or may not follow this advice.

Using simple materials such as string, wire, paper, and cardboard, explore the infinite possibilities of line, plane, and volume. Technical workshops facilitate understanding of basic additive and reductive techniques, and expand the capacity to define complex forms.
